Training History:
Ian or 'Curly' to his friends is a trainee electrical engineer and as a retired door supervisor he has had many years experience
of aggressive situations.
Now fully qualified as an instructor for Ju Jitsu, Ian hopes to carry on training hard and achieving
more goals.
I had heard from Master Johnson that he was starting a Ju Jitsu club and that it would help me to deal with
ejecting customers safely and effectively, whilst working on the door. I went to the first lesson and throughly enjoyed it!
Training has made me feel more confident and have made more friends from it. I have only missed two or three days of training
so far out of the two years the club has been going!
Personally, I think that this form of martial arts can help everyone
from all walks of life. It covers almost everything from throws, locks, punches, kicks, pressure points, chokes to defence
of weapons. Very handy for this day and age, I'm sad to say.
