I attended
a George Dillman seminar some years ago. Like most I thought the whole pressure point thing was a load of rubbish, how can
you knock someone over with a light touch? (I went there to prove it didn’t work, I even said it to Grand Master Bowman,
you can ask him)
I walked into
the training hall and this little guy came up and introduced himself “hello I’m Paul Bowman, Thanks for coming
hope you enjoy yourself” I’ve been to 100’s of seminars and I have never had the guy running coming over
to say hello, but everyone in the DKI turned out to be really friendly people.
Well cut a
long story short during the seminar I was chosen as uki he showed the technique slowly and asked if he could put it in a bit,
I thought how could this possibly hurt and said yes, next thing I know I was being woken up from a Pressure Point Knock Out,
after that I was hooked.
I now train
with Grade Master Bowman on a regular basis and class him as a good friend and teacher, I am also a very proud representative
of Zendoryu Martial arts and add the pressure point principles to Genshin Ryu Ju-Jitsu
